Our 787s get the CASA tick of approval
Australia’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) has given us approval to start flying our Boeing 787 aircraft commercially.
This means we’re all set launch our first scheduled Dreamliner flights between Melbourne and the Gold Coast on 13 November and Melbourne and Cairns on 14 November. You can find more information on 787 routes and flights on our Dreamliner microsite.
The photos above are from this afternoon when CASA presented Jetstar Australia with the Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) that authorises us to operate this type of aircraft from Australia.
You can read the full media release on the CASA website.
