Money talks as the Jetstar Platinum MasterCard scoops national awards

The Jetstar Platinum MasterCard walked away with a number of awards in the Mozo Experts Choice Awards including a Gold Medal in both the Best MasterCard Rewards Credit Card and Best Premium MasterCard Rewards Credit Card categories for its Jetstar Dollars Program.

Mozo is one of Australia’s biggest comparison websites, covering the retail banking market, general insurance, life insurance, business banking and more. Mozo Experts Choice Awards saw Mozo analyse 119 personal credit card products issued by 38 Australian financial institutions.

The everyday low interest rate coupled with the rewards offered by the Jetstar MasterCard and also the high value of rewards on the Jetstar Platinum MasterCard has been recognised by customers and as such both the cards have proved popular since being launched in 2009. The cards are issued by Macquarie Bank*.

Jetstar Group Head of Product and Ancillary Revenue Carly Povey said the awards highlight that the Jetstar MasterCard has struck a chord with Jetstar customers, who are looking for products that complement their lifestyles and offer great value.

“We are one of the world’s most successful and fastest growing low fares airlines and we’re immensely proud of the benefits we’ve delivered to our customers in the travel industry by making air travel more accessible,” Ms Povey said.

“We are delighted that the Jetstar Platinum MasterCard has been acknowledged in these awards as it reflects the value of Jetstar branded products.”

The accolades are one of a number for the Jetstar Platinum MasterCard which at the Mozo Expert Choice Awards was also highly commended in the Best MasterCard Rewards Credit Card category as well as the Best Overall Rewards Credit Card category for its Jetstar Dollars Program.

The Jetstar Platinum MasterCard also received a Bronze Medal under the Best Premium MasterCard Rewards Credit Card category for its Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards program.

Earlier this year Jetstar Airways was awarded Best Low Cost Airline, Australia-Pacific in the Skytrax Awards for the fourth consecutive year.
