  • New Jetstar shop located in West Surabaya’s largest shopping mall
  • More retail outlets in Indonesia to support greater access to Jetstar fares
  • Locals to celebrate with Surabaya to Singapore fares from IDR99, 000

The Jetstar Group is continuing its push for greater accessibility of its low fares with the opening of Indonesia’s second Jetstar Travel Shop in Surabaya, the main trading port in East Java.

Travel consultants at the Travel Shop will be able to help customers with their travel needs including information on flights, destinations, flight connections, flight meals, baggage allowance and allocation of seats.

Jetstar Asia CEO Barathan Pasupathi said through the Jetstar Travel Shop, customers also have the ability to transact in cash using Indonesian Rupiah thereby catering to the needs of Indonesian customers.

“The Jetstar Travel Shop in Surabaya is another customer initiative that we believe will help our customers to have even easier access to our everyday low fares,” Mr Pasupathi said.

“We plan to set up more travel shops in other sites in Indonesia within the next 12 months.”

The Jetstar Group currently operates 114 weekly flights between Indonesian ports Jakarta, Denpasar, Medan and Surabaya and international destinations including Singapore, Perth, Sydney and Melbourne.

Jetstar Asia operates six weekly flights between Surabaya and Singapore.

The Jetstar Travel Shop is operated by ABC Vacations and will open between 10.00am and9.30pm, seven days a week.
