Jetstar launches low fare, good time flights to Fiji!

Australia’s low fares leader Jetstar will take off to the South Pacific holiday destination of Fiji from 29 March 2010* with new four times weekly A320 services between Sydney and Nadi*.

Jetstar is all about offering every day low fares and good times for holiday makers and will commence its inaugural flights to the South Pacific timed to coincide with the peak Easter holiday period.

Jetstar now has available a range of special launch fares and holiday packages that lead the market in value-for-money holiday offerings to Fiji*.

Sydney-Nadi* special sale fares (JetSaver Light) are now available from $149 one way at Jetstar.com for a strictly limited two-day period unless seats sell out prior. Jetstar Holidays is also offering a range of special sale packages to Fiji up to 20 per cent less than existing competitor offerings, combining Jetstar’s low fares with accommodation to suit any budget – including for families of four (2 adults & 2 children) starting from $591 per person# for 4 nights available only through Jetstar Telephone Reservations on 131 538.

Jetstar’s every day fares between Sydney-Nadi* are now available from $229 (JetSaver Light) at Jetstar.com and are well below competitors on the route offering lead-in fares of at least $289 one-way.

Jetstar Chief Executive Officer Bruce Buchanan said Jetstar was committed to offering the lowest fares and holiday packages to Fiji from Sydney with connections to and from other Australian cities.

Jetstar’s high value inflight service to Fiji* on its modern A320 fleet will offer the choice of portable video on demand units for hire offering latest movie releases, TV programs, music videos and audio tracks and a range of hot food, snacks and beverages, including alcoholic drinks, available for purchase.

Qantas Frequent Flyer members can earn points and Status credits when travelling on Jetstar on eligible JetFlex fares to Fiji*.
