Jetstar Japan - 9m passenger milestone and Narita-Hong Kong launch
Jetstar Japan launches Narita-Hong Kong – 1 June 2015
Jetstar Japan continues to expand its international network with the launch of direct services between Tokyo’s Narita Airport and Hong Kong on 1 June. Three return services operate each week, increasing to daily from 1 September.
It follows the successful launch of Jetstar Japan’s first international route Osaka-Hong Kong earlier this year, and brings the frequency of the airline’s services to Hong Kong to 11 per week.
The Jetstar Group now have four routes into Narita, including those from Cairns, Gold Coast and Melbourne.
Jetstar Japan reaches 9 million passengers – 26 May 2015
Jetstar Japan recently celebrated its 9 millionth passenger since it started flying in 2012, the fastest any Japanese LCC has reached this milestone. Jetstar Japan, based in Narita and Kansai International Airports, now operates more than 100 flights a day across 20 routes to 12 destinations.
