Travellers from Singapore will now enjoy direct low-fares services to Sanya – one of China’s most popular tourist destinations – as Jetstar Asia introduces its newest route that goes on sale today.

Located at the Southern-most tip of the Hainan province, Sanya is popular for its pristine beaches, golf courses and water activities, including scuba diving, surfing and water sports as well as for its duty-free shopping.

Sanya’s temperate climate makes it popular for travel all-year round, where duty-free shoppers and sun-worshippers from Singapore will be able to take advantage of the new direct service, said Mr Bara Pasupathi, CEO of Jetstar Asia.

“Customers flying to Hainan island can now choose to fly direct two services a week to the resort city of Sanya or four weekly services to the provincial capital of Hainan in Haikou.

“Jetstar Asia has been operating direct services to Haikou for more than five years and with the new services to Sanya, Hainan island will be a new favourite for Singaporeans,” said Mr Pasupathi.
