Congratulations to our budding artists

To usher in the Year of the Horse, Jetstar Asia kicked off its first-ever boarding pass design competition, Art Takes Flight. The competition asked children in Singapore to draw what Lunar New Year means to them and, in response, we received close to 500 excellent entries that showcased a broad spectrum of talent.

14 year old Janice Yap’s artwork stood out from the rest, though, and she was awarded the Grand Prize. Her work will be featured on Jetstar Asia boarding passes issued to passengers departing Singapore Changi Airport from 31 January to 14 February 2014. Janice, a student from School of the Arts, also received a Jetstar travel voucher worth an auspicious S$888.

Our heartiest congratulations also go out to Samuel Lee, 5; Neo Hui-Shyan, 9; and Md Syakir Bin Rosley, 15 who were the three winners in the Under-6, 7-11, and 12-15 year old categories respectively. They won Jetstar travel vouchers worth S$288 each.

Check out all the entries to this competition on the Jetstar Asia Facebook page.

We’d also like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a prosperous Year of the Horse, may all your wishes come true, and stay healthy! Watch Jetstar Asia’s Lunar New Year greetings video.
